Class 3 DSC
Class 3 DSC refers to a type of digital signature certificate that is issued by Certifying Authorities in accordance with the Information Technology Act of 2000 in India. This certificate is used to authenticate the identity of the signatory and to ensure the integrity of the data being signed. Class 3 DSCs offer the highest level of security and are typically used in applications that require high levels of trust and security, such as e-commerce transactions, online bidding, and e-tendering.
DGFT
DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) signature certificate is a type of digital signature certificate issued to importers and exporters in India. It is used for electronically signing documents related to foreign trade transactions, such as license applications, shipping bills, and customs declarations. The DGFT signature certificate is issued by Certifying Authorities in accordance with the Information Technology Act of 2000 and is required for all electronic transactions with the DGFT.
Class 3 and Class 2 Document Signer certificate
Assurance Level: This certificate will be issued to individuals as well as organizations. As these are high assurance certificates, primarily intended for e-commerce applications, they shall be issued to individuals only on their personal (physical) appearance before the Certifying Authorities. This certificate can only be downloaded in a HSM Applicability: This level is relevant to environments where threats to data are high or the consequences of the failure of security services are high. This may include very high value transactions or high levels of fraud risk.
